SHOCKING When Aftab Shivdasani puked on Raveena Tandon’s hands

Raveena Tandon has been one of the most indispensable parts of 90s Bollywood. Take her out and one can’t describe the Hindi films of that decade. But before she made a debut in 1991 with Patthar Ke Phool, she had tried her hand at other stuff too.

In today’s edition of Mumbai Mirror, Raveena Tandon opened up about this part of her life before she joined films. She said that she joined famous adman Prahlad Kakkar and assisted him immediately after giving her class 10 exams. She used to reside in Juhu and would take bus and train to commute to Prahlad’s office near Mahalakshmi railway station. Primarily, her work involved doing the prep and post-production with Prahlad Kakkar. She worked on several ad commercials and she had a terrible experience while shooting for one such TVC.

The ad in question was of Cibaca Fluoride toothpaste. It featured actor Aftab Shivdasani, who was then just 10 years old. One particular shot of the ad required Aftab to gorge on a chocolate bar. Prahlad was perhaps not getting the perfect take and ended up taking more than 20 takes. After the 24th or 25th take, Aftab Shivdasani got sick. Raveena Tandon meanwhile was the clapper girl and had also swept the floor. Suddenly, she saw Aftab Shivdasani gag not once but twice. She feared that if he’d throw up, she would have to wipe the floor clean. Hence, she chucked the clapper board and desperately started looking for a bucket. She couldn’t find one and helplessly spread out her hands. Aftab Shivdasani then puked on Raveena Tandon’s hands and then she ran to wash them!

On the film front, Raveena Tandon was last seen in Ashtar Sayed’s Maatr and Onir’s Shaband both tanked at the box office. Aftab Shivdasani was last seen in Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3, which was a moderate success, and Great Grand Masti, which flopped. He’ll be seen next in Tom Dick And Harry Returns. It co-stars Jimmy Sheirgill and Sharman Joshi and is expected to release this year.
